What’s The Gag Factory?
We like to think we’re a little bit different to most stand up comedy nights and try to offer you fantastic comedy, big names and memorable stand up comedy nights out in an intimate venue near you.

Where is the Gag Factory?
Currently we only have one regular night, but this will change as we have plans to bring our comedy nights to more people. If you have a venue, a pub, club or room then get in touch we’d love to entertain your guests.

Is there a dress code?
In a word, YES! We love to go out and dressing up make a night out even more special. We won’t turn away the less sartorially garbed, so Jeans and T’s are OK, but we love to see black tie, full tweed, a kilt or ballgowns, LBD’s and cocktail dresses, adding to the sense of occasion!!

Can we bring our Stag Do/Hen Night?
In a word; depends? Basically an overally boisterous, drunken percentage of the audience can distrupt a stand up comedy night. So we may ask you to sit at seperate tables, or if too drunk/boisterous we will ask you to leave as it will seriousloy impair others enjoyment. Call in advance to discuss if you are thinking of coming with a stag or hen do.

Can we bring our office party?
Yes, please call our ticket hotline as we may be able to arrange food and drink for you too.

Is there a bar?
We always try to find venues that are licensed to serve alcoholic beverages.

What time does your comedy night start?
Depends on each venue – check the venue for details but usually we start around 8:30-9:00pm.

How long does a comedy show last for?
As it is a live show and subject to performer variations then each show does vary but a stand up comedy night lasts about 2 to 2.5 hours with breaks.

Can I perform?
We have 1 slot per show for new stand up comics to try out. Please submit your requests ONLY via email and send the following through to us;

• A link to any recent video footage of you performing
• Testimonials or quotes from audiences or other promoters
• LIst of other gigs/venues you have performed at
• Number of gigs you have done
• Our comedians gig request contact form here

We will then put you on our list and contact you if we have a slot available. Please note that we try to create a balanced night of comedy so it is important that we have an idea of your comedy style so we can put you on with the best chance of an enjoyable outcome for you and the audience.

Can you do a comedy night at our club, pub, bar or venue?
Yes, yes we can, our rates are reasonable and we guarantee a successful, professionally run night of top comedy. We can arrange everything from the line up, lighting and sound to local promotion, marketing and online promotional activities. Basically we can create a comedy night to fill an empty back room and add extra value to your venue. Call us to discuss details and explain your requirements to us in full.

Do you do supply comedians for corporate events?
Yes we do, call us for all the info, help in deciding and a whole laod of corporate comedy help and assistance. We do Forces events, army entertainment, navy entertainment and indeed RAF entertainment plus charity events and many other public or private party or social entertainment comedy events duch as fetes, fairs and festivals.
