Headliner ~ Shazia Mirza

The award winning British Asian stand up comedian comes to The Gag Factory. You may know her form TV shows such as; Richard and Judy, F**K off I'm a Hairy Woman, Have I got News for You and The World Stands Up plus many others. She's a regular contributor to BBC R4's Women's Hour and has  toured the US, Sweden, Denmark, France, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Paris, Kosovo, Dubai, Luxembourg, etc. etc.

In 2003, she was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy.

She has performed stand-up at the Edinburgh Fringe and, since 2006, has been writing a fortnightly column in The New Statesman magazine for which she won 'Columnist of the Year 2008' at the prestigious PPA Awards.

Our stand up comedy show night performs every Wednesday at the Embassy Club, 29 Old Burlington Street, London, just off Savile Row. Our capacity is an intimate 75 and it's going to always be a popular night so book in advance. Tickets are £15.00 on the door or £10.00 in advance. It really is the finest night of comedy entertainment in London.
