Headliner ~ Sajeela
Kershi
The If you came along and saw
Shazia Mirzah, or "Shaver Minzad" at the December Gag Factory then you are gonna also love Sajeela
Kershi. Ms Kershi material is again based around her ethnicity, but as a coemdian you write
about what you know and she writes well. Not so well known as Shazia but just as damn funny and a
real pleasure to have come and play at The Gag factory.
Sajeela Kershi has been making
a name for herself on the comedy circuit since 2006, as a stand-up comedian and
MC.

A relatively new headliner,
audiences warm immediately to Sajeela's charming banter. Her open friendly style has made her
popular with audiences up and down the country. Her stand-up is imaginative (sometimes risqué)
and dispels common media stereotypes of an Asian Muslim woman.
"every fibre of
Kershi's act exuded a sense of manic, perverse warmth"
Joe Horton, Campus Circle
"very talented and
funny"
Surrey Mirror
"on stage, Sajeela is
inclusive, nurturing, likeable, approachable and draws everyone effortlessly into her
world"
David Ord
